Aluminum rod is a round aluminum material obtained by smelting and casting of pure aluminum or aluminum alloy, and its specific classification is as follows:
2000 series aluminum rods. Stands for 2A16 (LY16), 2A02 (LY6), belongs to aviation aluminum, in the conventional industry is not often used.
3000 series aluminum rods. The main component is manganese.
4000 series aluminum rods. Representing 4A01, it belongs to the series with higher silicon content.
5000 series aluminum rods. The main element is magnesium, and the magnesium content is between 3 and 5%, which can also be called aluminum magnesium alloy, and it is also widely used in conventional industry.
6000 series aluminum rods. Represents 6061, 6063, mainly contains magnesium and silicon two elements, with the advantages of 4000 series and 5000 series.
7000 series aluminum rods. It stands for 7075 and contains mainly zinc.
