Stainless steel features:
317L (00Cr19Ni13Mo3, UNS S31726) alloy is an austenitic stainless steel based on molybdenum. It has greater chemical resistance than conventional chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steels such as alloy 304. In addition, compared with conventional stainless steel, 317L alloy has higher ductility, stress corrosion resistance, compressive strength and high temperature resistance. It is a low carbon grade or L grade, which is resistant to sensitization during welding and heat treatment.
Compared with 316L, 317L steel has good seawater resistance and SCC resistance, and is used in chemical ships, chemical product Reactors and other chemical equipment that require high corrosion resistance.

performance
317L is a molybdenum-containing austenitic chromium-nickel steel similar to Type 316, except that the alloy content in 317L is slightly higher. It offers excellent corrosion resistance in special applications where minimal contamination is required. 317L was developed primarily to resist attack by sulfite compounds more effectively. However, its proven ability to resist corrosion has greatly expanded its usefulness and is now being used in many other industrial applications. The low carbon content of 317L provides resistance to intergranular corrosion in applications where large cross sections cannot be annealed after welding or where low temperature stress relief is required.
